My name is Bill Barlow. And I do voice-over, in all its myriad forms.
Earlier in my career, as a producer at America’s Funniest Home Videos, I collaborated with — and learned from — the late Bob Saget.
I was also a producer for Entertainment Tonight, where I directed legendary announcers, like “The Voice of ABC,” Ernie Anderson.
And as an executive at FOX, I worked with voice talent from all over the country, as head of Creative Services for their stations in Los Angeles.
Looking back, I realize how much I learned from those sessions. And my biggest takeaway: Like a monkey with a Stradivarius, success requires more than just possessing “an instrument.” It’s how you use that instrument — how you hear what’s on the page — that makes all the difference!
If that analogy makes sense to you, then maybe we should work together. |
